ANNOUNCEMENT: WNO-Neem Summit 2024 Success!
I’m thrilled to share the resounding success of the WNO-Neem Summit 2024, held on February 19th and 20th at the prestigious ICAR – Indian Council of Agricultural Research & NASC – National Agricultural Science Complex, DPS Marg, New Delhi, India. Organized by the esteemed WNO – World Neem Organisation, Mumbai, India, this event marked the 2nd WNO Seminar, themed “Neem for Sustainable Agriculture, Health, and Environment,” alongside the 3rd Global Neem Trade Fair.
Compared to previous conferences in 2012 and 2018, this Neem conference was unparalleled in its impact and engagement.
As a proud core member of the WNO, representing North America, the UK, Germany, and the Scandinavian countries of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, I had the honour of attending as a Keynote speaker. My presentation, featuring a “Neem PowerPoint Slide Show,” was warmly received by over 250 participants, including academics, scientists, and neem researchers.
The event also featured 22 companies from India and abroad, showcasing their products at the Global Neem Trade Fair. Over the course of the 2-day program, 7 technical sessions provided ample opportunity for in-depth discussions and knowledge exchange.
In addition to my speaking engagement, I had the privilege of being interviewed numerous times by newspaper and radio reporters, who showed keen interest in both of my neem books: the third edition of my Award-winning book, “Neem: Nature’s Healing Gift to Humanity,” and my latest release, “Neem: The Tree that Heals Nations.”
To my utmost surprise and gratitude, I was bestowed with the prestigious “International Neem Persona” Award by the WNO – World Neem Organisation during the conference, a moment I will cherish forever.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the WNO-Neem Summit 2024. Your dedication to advancing neem research and advocacy is truly commendable.
