We still live in them – look at all the wood in your home!
They hold down the soil, cool the earth, and keep the world from turning into a vast dessert.
They feed and heal us. Here is the story of a remarkable tree you might have never heard before that grows like a weed in close to 100 tropical and sub-tropical countries, is draught tolerant, and has over 100 documented uses including a non-toxic pesticide.

Two corrections. The neem tree does not reach up to 15 meters in 3 – 5 years, it will take up to 10 years. The ginkgo biloba tree from China has not a history of 10 years but 200 million years. Some trees in China, Japan and Korea are reported to be between 1000 – 4000 years old.
